Ernesto Bautista

He studied Graphic Design, Architecture and Sculpture.

Ernesto Bautista was born in Santa Ana. Recently participated in the VII Biennial of Visual Arts of the Central American Isthmus, International Art Fair in Bogota, Colombia; Broken, Intimate Reflections, Ex-Teresa Arte Actual, Mexico City; The Voice That Reaches You 2, Kansas, Missouri, United States; Memento Mori, [e]star Gallery, Lima, Peru, among others. Has been nominated for the grant of the Cisneros Fountanals Art Foundation and his work, both written and visual, has received several awards, including first place in Latin American art auction SUMARTE, third place in the X Prize of Young Art, Cultural Center of Spain ES, winner in the contest of literary creation Gallo Tapado, finalist in the International Fellowship of poetic creation Antonio Machado, Soria, Spain. Was at the residence of Artistic Production La Mala Fama,v Morelia, Michoacan, as well as exhibitions and readings in Central, Northern and South America.

His work is not restricted merely to a format or medium, but highlights the literature and the visual arts are primary. Always work with the sensory stimulation of relations between individual consciousness and society through the subconscious.
Post at age 19, Silence: Doors Asleep, book the first place winner in the Latin American poetry contest, Amilcar Colocho. Founded the publishing project Instintos sobre el arte and the Generica Project, a social experiment based on state on relational structure, social discussion and new technologies.

He has participated in various writing workshops, poetry festivals in Latin America and published in various magazines and newspapers. It has been anthologized in 4M3R1CA, newer Latin American poetry, by Hector Hernandez Montecinos, as the youngest and Una madrugada del siglo XXI by Vladimir Amaya. In 2009 published The March of the absent, winner of the literary contest Gallo Tapado(Cultural Center of Spain in El Salvador).
