Patricia Dominguez

Nace en 1984 en Chile,
Vive y trabaja en Santiago.

Patricia Domínguez es artista y naturalista. Estudió un Master in Studio Art MFA en Hunter College Nueva York (2013), un Certificado en Ilustración Botánica y de Ciencias Naturales en el New York Botanical Garden (2011) y una Licenciatura en Arte Universidad Católica de Chile (2007). Sus principales proyectos han sido presentados en El Museo del Barrio (NY), Bronx Museum (NY), Museo Marte (El Salvador), Centro Matadero (Madrid),  FLORA ars + natura (Bogotá), YAP MoMA PS1 + Constructo (Chile) , Galería Gabriela Mistral (Chile), The Watermill Center (NY), MAC Quinta Normal (Chile),  Museo Bellas Artes (Chile), entre otros.
Ha participado en residencias como “Matadero, Centro de Creación Contemporánea” Madrid (2015), “AIM Program” Bronx Museum Nueva York (2014), R.A.T México (2014), Residencia Cancha Santiago Chile (2014),  “FLORA ars + natura” Colombia (2013), “Institute of Critical Zoologists” Singapore (2012), Sandbard Residency” India (2012), “The Watermill Center” Nueva York (2012) y “American Museum of Natural History” Nueva York (2012). Su trabajo ha sido incluido en publicaciones como “Younger Than Jesus: Artist Directory” por el New Museum of Contemporary Art y la editorial Phaidon y “Sub 30, Pintura en Chile”, entre otros.
Ha obtenido Beca Fondart 2010 + 2013 + 2014, Beca CONICYT 2010 y William Graf Travel Grant 2012. Recientemente obtuvo el 2do Lugar de la Beca CCU (2015), 1ra Mención Honrosa del concurso Entre Chaco y Finlandia (2015), ganó el concurso de Media Art de Fundación Telefónica de Venezuela (2014) y obtuvo  el 3r Premio Norberto Griffa a la Creación Latinoamericana de la Bienal del Movimiento (2014).
Entre sus próximos proyectos están exposiciones individuales en el Pizzuti Museum (Ohio) y en Galería Patricia Ready (Santiago) y exposiciones colectivas en Momenta Art (NY), Emil Filla (República Checa) y Galería Nube (Bolivia).
