Irene Serra

Born in 1986 in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina

I started with engravings, this method of working from levels and to make a work like a process, has been the base to develop projects in different media. Working from natural space, understood not only as a physical space, but as a place mobile, constantly changing, where you can produce an exchange of knowledge.

The variety of factors that affect the natural environment, wind, sun, water, sometimes slowly and other so unexpected, can change soil appearance, firmness or softening of the elements, etc, everything that makes me stop, to adjust the view otherwise, to listen, be attentive and after start up.

The idea is to simple shapes, which are biodegradable, do not lasting. The works were completed walking,  is on the experience of walk on works, you can understand or think the territory in differently way.
