Galeria Pilar

Founded in 2011

Galeria Pilar was launched in 2011 by Elisio Yamada and Henrique Miziara. The gallery, located in the Santa Cecilia district of São Paulo, has 400 square meters of exhibition space dedicated to presenting Brazilian as well as international artists, and functions as a platform for establishing a discourse with curators, critics and collectors. A main purpose for the gallery is to promote artists who are working in the most diverse media – including photography, painting, sculpture, installation, and video.
