El Ranchito Chile – Puerto Rico

Matadero Madrid, the Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional al Desarrollo (AECID), Beta Local from Puerto Rico and the Cultural Center of Spain in Santiago de Chile, collaborate in this new edition of the international residences El Ranchito.

On this occasion, the artists selected by public call are spanish artists Irene Andres and the Asociación Cultural El Solar, who went to Beta Local in Puerto Rico. Pepe and Quiela Murciego Nuc + Dear Raul travelled to the Cultural Center of Spain in Santiago with Puerto Ricans Alana Iturralde and Joel Rodriguez, also Chilean artists Patricia Dominguez and Javier Rodriguez.

After six weeks of work behind closed doors in the space of residences of the Nave 16 Matadero Madrid, they will publicly present their results on next April 30 to May 17, in exhibition format.
