” I look for particularities through technical manipulation of materials, for example, the reflection produced by mineral coal after being polished. Such formal encounters allow me to relate them to other uses and meanings, unthinkable infirst approach to the material. Following the example, the polishing of the coal allowed me to reach the pre-Columbian mirrors of the Chavín culture, which were also made with that stone. This fact connects me broadly with the production system of the objects and the imaginary they build in time.”
